Apple Bug Telugu Symbol

Earlier this week, engineers from Aloha Browser reported a new problems plaguing a bulk of Apple products. The bug, which is caused past a specific Telugu graphic symbol, causes app crashes when the character is inserted into a text field. The Open Radar customs bug written report on the matter states that when iOS, MacOS, watchOS, tvOS attempt to render the Telugu character, if it'due south inserted in any organisation text renderer, it results in an app crash.

Aloha Browser later tweeted that the problem seems to be with the San Francisco font, which is used by default in a majority of Apple tree devices. Additionally, Aloha Browser claimed that it's non but 1 Telugu character that triggers the bug, but two, namely 0xC1C and 0xC1E. The Telugu characters when translated mean the word "sign". It's worth noting that beta versions of iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS are non affected by the bug, which suggests that the company has already developed a ready and it's expected to arrive sooner than later on. The company had a bad calendar week of software bug only before the end of last twelvemonth, and fifty-fifty though the visitor is working to address all the issues, the problems merely don't seem to stop popping upwardly.
